E-Learning Day 1st July 2009

3rd day of Term 3 is our school's elearning day. A taste of Futuristic learning :) It's going to be fun! Children get to do school work while still in pajamas, haha ..

Of course we have a little teething problem. A few of our class members don't have a computer at home, a few don't have internet connection and a few don't have a printer .. so we still have to rely on hardcopies of assignments (which were distributed today).

we might be learning from home for a week or two ..

Teachers are making preparations for it .. waiting for instructions from MOE ..

With very simple equipments, we are able to create a Rainbow!

We 'caught' the rainbow on a piece of white paper.

Science and ICT Camp

All it took was 16 minutes for the matchstick to burst into flame !

On the 1st and 2nd June, we had a Science and ICT camp.

We learnt how to be young scientists: Planning, writing Hypothesis, setting up our experiments and testing out what we have guessed about Light. We had the chance to learn outdoors.

Then we used Wetpaint (powered by wiki) to present our findings.
