Earth Hour
Did you know that more than 10,000 people and 450 companies in Singapore have pledged to "switch off" for one hour from 8.30pm (28 March) to mark Earth Hour? It is the global initiative by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise awareness about climate change and global warming. Famous local landmarks such as the Merlion, the Singapore Flyer, the Underwater World in Sentosa and Changi Airport are showing their support.
